Douglas Strachan - Principal Architect   Douglas leads the team and ensures a personal service is provided on all projects. In previous practice, Douglas worked with award winning Edinburgh Architects, gaining experience in making contemporary additions to listed buildings and in conservation areas. Following qualification as a Chartered Architect, Douglas also studied Construction Project Management at post-graduate level. He chose to base the practice in  Dalkeith , in order to be more actively engaged with the local  community , where he is raising two sons with his wife  Donna .   Favourite Project -    Mews House

Zsuzsa Majó - Project Architect   As a Chartered Architect, who qualified while working in London, Zsuzsa brings her years of experience on high-end projects to the team. Having worked on a range of residential and commercial projects, she has always had a particular interest in the combination of heritage with contemporary design, as well as a passion for community projects. These interests led her move to Scotland in 2018 to join our growing team and ensure the effective delivery of our wide range of projects.   Favourite Project:    Connected Community

As a Chartered Architect, who qualified while working in London, Zsuzsa brings her years of experience on high-end projects to the team. Aurélie Mangon - Architectural Designer   With a passion for Architecture and Heritage, Aurelie has explored contemporary architectural interventions in historic structures through both her academic and professional careers. Having gained experience in other small design-led practices, she brings this passion and richness of understanding to the team. Aurelie is involved helping to visualise and then deliver the many projects the team is working on, and is especially interested in those where an intervention helps add to the story the building tells. John Pottage - Architectural Technologist   Following his studies at  Edinburgh Napier University , from which he graduated with the class medal in 2017, John has brought knowledge of the latest in Architectural Technology to the team. Working on the full range of projects within the practice, he particularly enjoys developing designs in detail, figuring out how to physically put buildings together and ensuring their execution on site.
